Thanksgiving earings

These earrings are made with homemade beads, and they are really easy to make. They are tied to a simple red string.

This is what you need for the beads:

• Festive colored paper
• Mod Podge
• Scissors
• A thin paint brush

How you make them:

• The paper into long thin, triangular strips that are larger at one end then the other.
• Now brush the paper with the Mod Podge.
• Now wrap the paper round the end of the paint brush, and paint more Mod Podge onto the paper, so that the paper looks similar to the shape of a lantern. (you should probably try wrapping the paper around the end of the paint brush a few times first, to make sure the paper is the right size.)
• Now take the paper off the paint brush, keeping the paper in the same lantern-shape.
• Now let it dry, and tie the string onto the string, and attach to the earring post.
