Blizzard Cookies

These cookies are great to make when there is a cold blizzard right outside the window. These are very easy and delicious. They make 3 dozen tempting cookies, but don't eat too many at once!

What you need:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
How to make it:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spread parchment paper over a cookie tray and set aside for later.
  • In a medium size bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a hand held mixer beat the butter and sugars until smooth. Now add the vanilla and the eggs.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • Slowly fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Roll spoon fulls of cookie dough into small balls, and place onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Enjoy!

  1. Hi craftygyrl! These look great, but I was wondering whether you have any crafty cookie recipes for Valentine's Day. I have to take 2 dozen cookies in to my 4th grader's class party. Suggestions from the pro?
